Women in Ranching holds brave space, supports courageous action and champions rural women's leadership on the land.
2034 Vision:
Women In Ranching envisions a future where women lead the transformation of agriculture and communities, while thriving within a supportive environment. Through women-centered power, we amplify voices, steward the land with care, and cultivate resilience. By fostering global connections, offering innovative education, and creating spaces for growth, we help women build financial security, shape impactful policies, and inspire future generations. Together, we create a legacy of leadership, reciprocity, and sustainability that elevates diverse voices and deepens connections between women and the land.
Ranching on Our Own Terms
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, WIR is dedicated to developing leadership on the land. We empower women to show up fully as leaders, learners and community seekers through in-person and virtual programming. We offer practical, accessible resources for women at every stage of their ranching journey. We bring together land and livestock stewards to share their knowledge and skills within our vibrant and diverse community, activating their leadership for generations to come.
