Organization Overview

Montana Public Radio is an NPR affiliate and provides news and eclectic cultural programs to all of western and central Montana. MTPR has a robust Montana News team and feeds Montana stories to NPR nationally, as well as producing award-winning podcasts like "Richest Hill." The station also produces the longest running children's radio program in the nation, "The Pea Green Boat." Founded in 1965, MTPR is a public service of the University of Montana and thrives with funding form our listeners. Check it out at MTPR.org
