Glacier Nordic Club

Glacier Nordic Club (GNC) is a Montana community Nordic ski club located in beautiful Whitefish, MT. We serve all of Flathead County, with majority participation from Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Kalispell. We groom and maintain 67 km of trails in four locations: the Glacier Nordic Center located at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course; Big Mountain Nordic Trails/Haskill Basin Trailhead in Whitefish; Round Meadow on the Flathead National Forest, and the Meadow Lake Golf Course in Columbia Falls. GNC provides regular grooming and trail reports. Our highly regarded youth programs include sport development for ages 4-18 through the Glacier Nordic Ski Team (GNST) and Chet Hope Youth Ski League (CHYSL). Those who register for a youth season program gain access to our large rental fleet at an affordable cost for the entire season. GNC owns and operates the Glacier Nordic Shop and Center at the Whitefish Lake Golf Course. Here we offer lessons, rentals, and retail to locals and visitors. Our Adult Clinics and Programs are for all levels and abilities. We partner with schools, organizations, and other nonprofits to support skiing opportunities with our PSIA certified instructors.
